December

I wanted to get in a post before the year ended. I plan on doing a recap and what to hope/expect in 2013. But for now this is what I have done this holiday season.

I decorated my little casa. I think it turned out lovely. Not much room for a tree so I stick with lights, candles, and things that shine.

Visit to Washington DC Temple with RuthE.  It has become a tradition to embrace baby Jesus through lights. RuthE has become quite fond of visiting the Temple and saying "Merry Christmas".

I had the privilege of gathering together a few friends and we went to Arlington Cemetery and help laid wreaths on the graves of our armed forces. They laid almost 200,000 wreaths and took a moment to pay tribute to those who gave their lives to our freedom and country.

Last week was a Christmas program at my church. I decided to put on my Sunday best and take a little holiday photo with my LoLa. Yes, she is wearing a red sweater. I couldn't resist the opportunity to put a little warmth and cheer on the pretty girl.

Well this Christmas I will be spending it in the NW - Seattle area with my sister Jenn and her family; Chris, Carter and Kennedy. I'm flying out tomorrow. I had to try something new and this was the perfect opportunity to make happen.

Merry Christmas to all...
