So after the Build I had to do a little funding partner work. One of my newest accounts is the LA Kings...rough I know but someone needs to take one for the team.
2 Project Managers, a local, and I went to an evening of hockey. Were we had 13 row seats of the center glass to watch the Kings crush the DC Capitals (ironic...don't you think.)
While watching the Kings we also saw a few celebrities; it was very LA. The guy from Angle/Bones (Wendy's crush) was a couple rows away and not to far from him was Rachel Hunter (the former Mrs. Rod Stewart). Who knew hockey had that kind of pull. During the 2/3 period I met a great girl from the Kings - talked a little business and then she invited us to the after party. Of course we went...talk about posh - it was a Russian theme with Russian techno and Russian vodka. We didn't last too long but had to make an appearance.
In the next few months I am going to start taking interest in body checks and power plays. But not until college football is over January 2 or 5, 2009.
