Sun, Playground, Mickey, & Gambling

Well it's been a very long week. I had the fortune to go back to Southern California last week to build another playground.

I got in very late Monday night. We had prep day one at Rosita Elem School early Tuesday morning. I was shadowing two of my colleagues - Ann and Adam. It was a great leaning experience and the build was completed on Thursday in record time.

To coincide with my trip Melanie and Jason came out to California to spend a week at Disneyland...talk about timing!!! Tuesday night we all plus Grandma went to dinner. Chase was our official photographer...Ansel Adams watch out.

On Wednesday I worked half of the day and then had the opportunity to join Mel, Jason, and the kids at Disneyland. It was a blast the lines were a breeze and Paige wore a little princess dress. We rode all the rides and enjoyed the holiday Disney scenery. I don't have many pictures but Melanie assures me she will post some on her blog. At the end of the day we rode the monorail to Downtown Disney and I being the best aunt ever bought the kids a GINORMOUS chocolate on chocolate cupcake. Talk about a great dinner.

Side note...at the Auto-bon (the cars) i saw this and couldn't resist taking a photo. Look closely...that's right talk about lack of man-scaping. Jason and I were just in awe.

Thursday - built a playground, learned how to assemble a spiral slide and see-saw. That night I had to meet a new funding partner - LA Kings (seperate blog). Took my colleagues and had a great time.

Friday - worked half day and then spent the other helf running errons and then enjoyed the evening with the girls at the Los Alamitos Race Track (seperate blog).
