Well today is my year anniversary with KaBOOM!; it seems like only yesterday I was playing on a tire swing. WAIT!...I was. This amazing job has taken me all over North America (I would have said USA but I remember I went to Canada as well). It started on a playground in New Orleans. I was surrounded by hundreds of people wearing purple and orange singing, cheering and blowing on kazoo's. For a moment I thought I entered the crazy zone; but as I saw the faces of the children drawing their dream playgrounds and parents hauling mulch to what soon became a playground later that day I knew it wasn't a dream. As of today I have participated in over 200 playground Builds (via calls, site selection, funding partnerships, volunteering and taking pictures).
Here are some pics from my very first Build (New Orleans, LA - February 10, 2007)

To commemorate your 1st anniversary with the organization they give you an all purpose coat and fleece in bright orange.
How do I look?
