scale

Well I've done it...jumped off the bridge and into the world of CRAZY-VILLE. I have read enough fitness, shape and women's health magazines to give the impression that I am a little obsessed with physical appearance. Actually most of you know that I am pretty aware of my weight and fitness apparel, so much that I have some pretty different eating habits and stock the fitness clothing stores. Well I am on a new challenge and have a pretty specific timeline to achieve what I want and every and I mean every article has suggested that to stay accountable one must consistently weigh yourself - same time, place and clothing. Well I broke down Monday night at Target and bought a scale. NOW I think the scale is of the devil and represents many, many, many bad vibes - BUT it is time to embrace and prove these fitness "experts" wrong. So I determined the best time to weigh myself is first thing in the morning in my PJ's. The first time didn't freak me out to bad; now it is day 3 and I have to say it does something to you mentally. Several times a day that number comes into my brain and I wonder how to improve it - it is a great hunger killer.

Now I'm not promoting you all go by a scale this is just an experiment and I will keep you posted as to if "they" know what they are really talking about or will it be my next shotgun launch item.

I'm actually sort of a scale person myself; always weigh myself right out of the shower. Of course, these days I never know what to expect, but it is interesting.

out of the shower???!! not with a wet head!! I too am guilty of being scale crazy.. It got so bad I had to take the batteries out and I gave them to my GF. "hello my name is Sandra and i'm addicted to my scale"

I too am scale conscious. I do it in the morning, right before I get in the shower. It's kind of a habit thing, now.
