One of my favorite Shakespeare plays is The Taming of the Shrew. My love for this play actually stems from an episode of "Moonlighting" with Bruce Willis and Cybill Sheppard. Funny, I know but it turned me on to reading the fella.
Last night a gal pal (Mary Frances) was kind enough to take me to the theater and see a rendition of the Shrew. Couple fabulous things about last night.
- the play was at a theater I've been wanting to attend - Folger Shakespeare Library
- the theater was charming and not a bad seat in the house
- the two lead characters were delightful to watch
It was a grand evening. Mary Frances has been a season ticket holder for years and it was a wonderful time.
I look forward to revisiting this theater again. For those of you in the area you should check this play out OR check out the episode of Moonlighting. Either way you will be pleased.
