Most of you know that I am not much of a "gambler".
Now, I like to visit Vegas and make friendly wagers from time to time. Typically, I don't like to loose.
Well this past weekend I participated in a charity Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament.
Strangely I know not a single thing about the card game.
It was probably very amusing to watch me sit at a table and question what a "check" is and when is it appropriate to add money to the "pot".
I started out with $40 in chips. At the high of my naive gambles I had $150. My best hand was a straight flush...whatever that means.
I managed to last 90 minutes /two rounds. It was humorous and quite fun. The kind man next to me helped from time to time.
In the end the money all went to TEAM in Training for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
GO TEAM!!!
