GEC weekend + Great Falls

This weekend was a good time with a good man...Bryan! He was fortuneate enought to come out a few days before hsi business trip in NC. Yesterday we went on a nice 8.5 mile running tour of DC. He was quiet the trooper - he has not been running in a very, very, very long time. I personally thought it would be a good way to log some miles. We saw the Capitol, the Mall, Jefferson, FDR, MLK, Korean, Lincoln, WW2, and Washington momuments. I had no pockets to picture the run but he managed to keep at my slow running pace. Afterwards, I compensated him with a fantastic brunch.

Today, I was excited to show him Great Falls, MD. It is a 4-mile loop to the falls from a parking lot off the C & O Trail. He was a slow mover, apparently the "run" yesterday took a toll on his legs. Now mind you this is coming from a man who has RAN 7 MARATHONS...it was a little hard to be sempathedic. Regardless...it was a nice beautiful early spring adbenture.

This spot is now being added to the tour guide sheet.
