not dead...yet

Hello Blog,

I don't know if I've missed you, but I have checked you often. I keep thinking someone else will write something on my behalf...no luck - yet. But here are just a few updates for my reader/lurkers/fans/friends/admirers:

Still working @ KaBOOM!

My car was recently broken into at a park-in-ride while I was out on a 40-mile ride. LAME...$5K in fraud charges...almost 100% reconciled.

Currently not training for any endurance event - but have one more metric century ride (9/24)
Just got asked to be on a steering committee for a homeless non-profit that I volunteer for - Miriam's Kitchen - Thanksgiving Walk-a-thon (Nov 20)

I just put up my Utah Utes Football 2010-11 Schedule (PS. they WON last night!)

On Sunday I am going to Quebec, Canada for a couple days (bringing back my French lessons)

Potentially have a date next weekend

Vacuumed my house and cleaned the bathroom on Wednesday

Been craving sugar lately...not good, but shaking things up

Starting to think about my upcoming birthday (BIG 3-5) and how I want to celebrate

Vacation - how to use my PTO

I'm so glad you're still alive! Come west for the big 35! We can gather for you in the LBC... : )

And I'm sorry about the car situation. That sucks.

I knew you weren't dead. We are pretty excited about the Utes and there almost lost/win. That better not happen again. I would like to be ahead so most of the crowd leaves half way thru the 4th quarter so traffic isn't so bad. Keep us updates! Love you

1. I love your new picture! I mean, I loved your white sweater picture, too, but it's good to see the updated 'do. :-)

2. So sorry about your car and the fraudulent charges. SUCKS!

3. I LOVE that vacuuming and cleaning the bathroom are on your list. They always make my list of important events, too. This is another reason why we're friends.

4. Hmm...didn't realize it was a milestone birthday. Snap. I would say "NO! Don't go out west. Stay in DC and let the party come to you!" But, since it's a big one...
(The conference opens Friday [Feb 11] night with a reception, runs all day Saturday [Feb 12], and there's a morning workshop Feb 13 I may attend. If I go at all.) :-)

5. It's great to get some Carrie news! Thank you for the update!
