Well it's been a week and after taking some pretty serious drugs the doctor said I could take the bandage off and finally shower....YEAH! (I've showered a couple times since writing this.) I had my mom take the bandaging off and now I have 3 small areas that should scare nicely and with little irritation. On Friday I am going to see Dr. K and he will be removing the stitches - he removed them on friday...painful and iritating. Until then I should continue to take it easy use my crutches, walk with much caution and as need take the pain relievers (I lasted 3 days on crutches). Well my mom was very supportive of my recovery but reminds me that I may momentarily feel great I need to remember it has to be all day thing.
So yesterday I was little hard on myself and this morning I am feeling tired and sore. I guess she was right...mom does know best. Today I am starting my physical therapy 2 times a week for 1 month.
