out on a school night

From time to time I like to spice things up and go out during the middle of the week. When I lived in the LBC that was just a way of life. Now living in DC not so much the norm. But last night I took in a national past-time...in Canada...HOCKEY; not my first choice but given that our office received free tickets how could I resist.

The seats couldn't be any higher in the Verizon Center; standing up you felt like a nose bleed would be coming upon you soon. The office represented well; you will see some good shots. My number one request for the night was to see and fight, most of the "Hockey Office Experts" said the likely hood would be slim. Well about 7 minutes into the 1st period a fight broke out it was SPECTACULAR - each player got 2 minutes in the penalty box.

My night was complete; the second period was good but every power play the Capital had they couldn't seem to score I was getting very antsy. By the beginning of the 3rd period I decided my night out was over and Project Runway was starting in an hour. I beat the rush and the news reported that the Capitals won 2-0 against the Colorado Avalanche.

My colleagues...

Lookin' fab!

PS Upgraded the channels last night so we could watch ProjRun. Grandma didn't like Elisa's Hershey's Kiss dress (brown dress with foil sleeves).
