My mental stability has been in question for some time but now my body is taking center stage. Tuesday was a long day; I attended day one of a two day conference. That night I was sitting at an institute class wondering what the instructor was on...his lesson was off the charts of speculation. My temporary crown fell out. I had some internal panic and thought super I am now tooth-less. I ran into a guy there who is a dentist and said not to worry my mouth would just be sensitive to hot and cold until it was put back in...SUPER. I had another day at this conference so nothing could be done until Thursday.
In the meantime my knees and hips had been bothering me to the point where my daily exercise was being affected - NO good. So this morning I went to see an orthopedic doctor (Dr. You) he was a very nice little man. He informed me that I have Patellofemoral Syndrome and most likely Fibromyalgia (but he can't make 100% diagnosis - that would require another specialist). He also suggests that I do some reading up on the subjects. GOOD TIMES!

Wow. I would definitely be seeking out a specialist's opinion. Sounds like kind of a cavalier diagnosis.
Oy. Sorry to hear about the troubles. For the temp crown, you can put it back in yourself with Polydent or the like. As for pain treatment, try acupuncture. I swear by it. Good luck finding a specialist!
Uhhh...no good. I'll pray for you.
CARRIE! I am so sorry about all of this! And I would definitely get a second opinion on that diagnosis.
Love ya!
