A new 'dew

Well with my sister abandoning me it forced me to find someone to cut my hair.
Now I agonized over this for several days and weighed my options:
1)Fly to Atlanta & have Tabitha cut it
2)Con my roommate into doing it in exchange for heat
3)Find some stranger and hope to heaven they know what they are doing
4)Grow it out.
These all seemed possible and probable but I was anxious to find a resolution; 1 was going to take to much time not money but time, 2 seemed like a tricky one and slightly harsh, 3 and 4 where in the lead but 4 was fading fast along with my patience.

I called a place Tabitha recommended and then decided on a guy name Sean; I walked into a very hip and trendy spot downtown and the price was too good to be true. The shampoo girl greeted me and got right to business. Then I met Sean - very limp hand shake which made me wonder if the hands were firm enough to handle my hair. Did I mention he had a tattoo on his neck it said "Buffy" after his fiancee. Well the razor came out and he just went crazy I had several inner panic attacks and questioned his method about 100 times. After the cut he said, "would you like me to blow dry it?"...I found that an odd question considering it was snowing and my hair was wet. I said "yes, please". After he blowed it dry he asked if I what products I used and I said, "use whatever you like". Well he rubbed some gew in my head and said, "well, I think you'll like it, play around with it and enjoy." I looked in the mirror and half my head was flipped out and the other side was rolled under. I thought where is the style and fun flat-iron or pizazz? I shook his limp hand again and went to the counter and inquired about styling the counter girl said it would be extra $$ and time; if I don't specify when I make the appointment they don't include it.

Embarrassed with the look, I put my hood on a headed for the metro. I immediately got home and headed for the flatiron and styling products. I also called my sister and chewed her out for leaving me with this predicament. Well my roommate (the PA/hairstlyist) came home to assess the damage, she cleaned up the neck, evened out the sides and told me the cut was actually pretty good cut. I was relieved...will I go back? - TBD.

Looks nice but why the TBD?sooo.... He asked to blowdry it? Even supercuts will automatic style it for you! and you Friend had to even it out???!! Tell you what Carrie, ask yourself this.. "would you recommend a friend to this man with the limp hands and the tattoo of buffy written on his body"? Then answer yourself if you will go there.. cuz I dont know what scares me more, the idea of his limp hands or the idea that you would consider going back?>> ~Sandra
