My friend Sister Hexberg wrote on her blog about how she is look at getting up early and starting a working out routine...now she asked how I do it and what was the secret. Well it's simple...I want to get a husband, be skinny or a size 6/8 (not too picky), and save what's left of my mental stability. Now Sister Hexberg already has two out of the three of these life long goals achieved so I guess she will have to strive from mental stability. Now this is not an easy one to achieve it is a constant battle but I find that each morning I drag myself out of bed around 5:15 AM (OK really 5:23) I tell my self that if I do this today I am one step closer to being a happy person and not having anyone tell me that I look pissed off; one day I will get my Mr. Right and super expensive $160 pair of jeans AND OF COURSE the final thought - run circles around a majority of people kicking some tail! Really it is a series of positive affirmation that you must decide what you value most. So my dear Sister - what matters most to you?
Side note - who are we kidding you are not that early of a girl, you are a night owl and so is your husband...stick with the evening workouts. Try leaving the office at 4 (the TRUE CHALLENGE) and you plan daily workout dates (6-7/7:30 PM) with Pork Chop or have a little me time and hit the elliptical machine then reward yourself with a milk shake on the way home. REWARDING SELF IS KEY!!!
