country music

Sunday's are historically a roller coaster for me but I am consistent in one thing. I always jam out to Country Music. I can't tell you when it started but for some reason it makes sense to me. The rhythm, the twang, the fiddle, the lov'em / leav'em themes, America the beautiful ... I heart it all.

SO turn up your favorite country song and rock out on the Sabbath...it can't be wrong.

Let me end with a few of my personal favorites -
"Unanswered Prayers" - Garth ... need there be a reason - NO
"Gods Speed" - Dixie Chicks
"Fiddle in the Band" - Alabama
"Stand By Your Man" - Patsy Kline
"Coal Miners Daughter" - Loretta Lynn
"Baby, Now That I Found You" - Alison Krauss
"Life's a Dance" - John Michael Montgomery

Anyway...it is always part of my Sunday.

What is a Sunday tradition for you?

I had country music on today while driving to church. But the song that was playing was "put a drink in my hand". Some might say it is not an appropriate song for Sunday, but when you have to sit through sacrament with a toddler, it seems just perfect :)

I usually give Maggie a bath on Sunday's. It's our thing. But other than that, and church, I don't have a lot of Sunday traditions.

Also, I am impressed with the time span of your country music playlist. You have a lot of decades in there.
