Dirty hands

There are few things I wish I didn't have to do...

Pumping gas
Getting an oil change
Servicing my car
Dusting

Well today I had to replace a front headlight and a rear brake light. The Jeep dealership wanted an insane amount of money. (I only know about the lights because a recent traffic violation...apparently I should have know about my brake light!)

I went to an auto parts store. Now stores like this a fascinating to me; I walk in and it like a store full of trinkets and things that make no sense to my analytical/over thinking brain.

I told them what I needed and went outside. I stared at my engine and wondered how to replace the headlight. I attempted to look at the owners manual...funny. Lucky for me a guy in the store came out and he replaced the light for me!!! Then I casual mentioned the brake light.

Next thing I know I am using a borrowed star/Phillips screwdriver. I'm taking apart the back light box. Twenty minutes later I am done with my mechanic problem.

Slightly rewarding, I really don't like it doing this type of stuff. (pic taken in the auto parts bathroom...)
