I "LOVE" allowing myself to go on a birthday trip!
Well, in a few short days I will be "celebrating" my birth. This year is kind of a big one: 35...how I got here I am not quite sure. But for several years in the back of my mind I had several plans & thoughts for this year. For some reason none of them have come to fruition and the gifts I wanted to buy for myself no longer seem to fit. Over the weekend I was being a bah hum bug about the lack luster plans I was toying with...that is until a gal pal said, "I have a few bucks, lets go somewhere." I kind of chuckled and then she became 100% serious. Monday I called a friend in the travel industry and yesterday purchase a trip to ....... CANCUN!
We are leaving on Friday AM and coming back on Monday PM. I am still in disbelief and am starting to give myself the permission to enjoy this perk of being where I am in my life.
