Riding update

Well most of you if not ALL of you should know by now I am training for America's Most Beautiful Bike ride in Lake Tahoe on June 6. It is a 100-mile bike ride and I am also fundraising $4300 to help find a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma Disease. I have so far raised $1900...thank you to all who have donated. But I still have a ways to go. I am still accepting donations...

Every week my training team gets together for a "long" ride. Well on Saturday, April 3 we did 41 MILES in Davidsonville, MD...not too far from Annapolis. It was a little chilly and the hills kicked my butt. But still managed to walk...

This past weekend (April 10) we road 50 MILES in Waldorf, MD (aka Amish Country)...it was super hilly. I felt great after the ride; I had a great training week. I wanted a picture of the several horse and buggies I passed but it is prohibited and you can be fined. (SIDE NOTE...butterflies are pretty ... but stupid - they fly right into you while cruising down a hill and die on your shoulder...freaked me out! Which then lead me to eating a very large bug because my mouth was open during my freaking out moment.)
