Early last week I was sent an IM from Bryan asking if I had plans for the weekend. At the moment I had none but getting ready to confirm a date. He told me to put things on hold...no problem. Come to find out he was going to NC for work and had the opportunity to drive up to DC for the weekend...I said sure come, always welcomed to the nation's capitol. He have a grand holiday time...I was able to show him my hood and give him a little east coast style that he could share with the west coast. We visited the American History, Air and Spaces museums, walked Capitol Hill, grabbed a delicious breakfast at Eastern Market, watch a true DC film - Frost/Nixon...excellent and fitting scene. Of course witnessed the first snow fall of the year...hello winter.
