My one frown was this...
A note to share with you all NEVER, NEVER, NEVER...EVER fly ATA (Air Tran) - better referred to as the "trailer trash" airline. My flights were delayed beyond belief, the service was crappy, the automatic agents are retarded, and the seats were a wreck. Enough said about that, it is not worth taking up any more space or free PR.
Friday...chilly (literally chilly mid 40's) 10 of us went to Disneyland: Dad, Bubba, Melanie's family, Tabitha's family, and I. It was a great time! The crowds were very manageable and the rain did not come down until after we left the park. We rode all rides we wanted, saw the Holiday Dreams parade, and ate the best churros ever (a Disney must). I did not have my camera but my family assures me they will post some up and I can then share with you all.
That late evening I made a shore visit to the Manor and we hammed it up until I started falling asleep during our conversation; Wendy-girl was kind enough to take me home. Shaine arrived from NoCal. I also met my new bestie – Adriana…Boston 2010!
Saturday…pedi @ the SWAN and lunch with the girls; short visit with Meredith, Jake and baby Ericka. She is a doll and very cooperative to hold by many of us. Then it was off to the party for G-Ma. The house was bustling with tons of family. Arrived at the rec center a tad late; there were guest there waiting to visit with G-Ma. It was a lovely time about 150-200 people.

Post party went to another party – Hanukah at the Manor. There were tons of people; it was great to see lots of old faces and meet a couple new ones. Everyone is doing fantastic and looking damper. Props to my new bestie…Adriana (we will hit the bar next time…PROMISE!) Another shout out to Wendy for being my chauffer…do not remember our conversation much – flew asleep again in the car.

Sunday…brunch with the immediate family and a quick visit to the beach…of course – Seal Beach! Then it was time for the family to part ways; Mom, Dad, Bubba, and Melanie’s family flew out from LAX. Tabitha’s family was driving back with an overnight stay in Vegas. I made arrangements to not leave until Monday. Dropped everyone off and then cruised down to the Manor. We spent a couple hours together … just us girls (Julia, Mer and baby Ericka joined us too). Side note: Jackie’s are always that Jackie’s. Later that night I spent it with G-Ma, Bo hunk Uncle Jim and crazy Aunt Jean.

Monday…early, early AM met up with my gal pal Jeannie for a walk around the beach and a warm beverage. She is a true gem and I heart her passion for live and words of wisdom. After our visit I cruised back to the house and spent a lovely hour with G-Ma, it was just us and we had a very heart felt chat. I adore her and will always cherish my 5 years with her.
