Saturday night...what better thing to do then go shopping at IKEA. I had been at home most of the afternoon watching TLC/HGTV and college football and got the vision to upgrade my bedroom. My dear friend Patty tends to buy anew comforter every few months and she along with hours of DIY TV caused me to do the same. So off in the jeep and through the pouring rain I went to IKEA. Cruising around with grand visions and not so deep pockets I ended up in the kitchen area...I started looking around and then stopped because I noticed a reality TV celebrity.
Yes, my first reality TV sighting - Carla from Top Chef season 5. She and her husband were looking at kitchen cabinets...now I figure this must be an endorsement. IF a Top Chef is at IKEA in the kitchen section it must be good for the rest of us. I had to say say "hi", she was just as sweet in person as on TV. Happy Saturday Night to me...solo - yes, but who cares.
Side note...the comforter I wanted was out of stock so my vision will be put on hold for another week or two. I did end up with some random kitchen stuff...maybe I'll use one day.
