CARRIE VALENTINE...it's all in the name: Fuller Adventure (part 2)

Our adventure started off with a tade bit of a detour...Mom and I were suppose to meet in NYC and hop on a red-eye to Madrid. Well my flight in DC was 2 1/2hours DELAYED...causing me to miss the Madrid flight. Mom was smart enough to get off the flight and wait for me. Delta assurred me the flight would be held - THEY LIED...now we were stuck in JFK and spent several hours getting out of JFK. Bottom line rented a room and couldn't get on another flight until 24 hours later. Delta was working on becoming the worst airline ever based on how they handled my trip...but we will put that on hold till later.

So Saturday 3/14 - NYC...make the most of it.

We finally got to Madrid on Sunday 3/15...it was warm (75 sunny). Mom did not do so well traveling overnight so this is what happened the minute we got to our hotel.

She was out within minutes...I let her sleep for about 2 hours.

I give her a little reprive and not break her legs we spent 2 days on a double decker bus, it allowed us to hop on and off all over the city.
