This weekend I had "planned" to spend it with my sister Tabitha and her family (Eric and monster)...but while trying to print out my boarding pass something went terribly wrong. They wouldn't let me print it out...WHY??? Well usually you have to be scheduled to travel that day. SO I looked closer at the itinerary and the date said FRIDAY Feb20...WHAT!!! I called Tabitha to confirm and read the itinerary I emailed her when purchased the ticket several weeks ago. She said the same thing...my packed suitcase was staring at me and I started to panic.
I called Delta and tickets were sold out from all three airports and the next available flight was Sat @ noon for an additional cost of $300+. Now I was heavily considering it but given my upcoming travel schedule and having to work early on Monday I had to throw in the towel. For the first hour of work the acceptance has difficult...what the crap was I going to do now. Everyone I know well is going to be gone for the weekend.
I emailed a few people with simple pleas and a few coworkers took pity on me and I started to feel less foolish. Several hours later I did find it funny but was still kicking myself for not knowing how to read and book travel.
Lesson...I need my eyes checked and I'm getting older.
