I've been "grounded: not traveling via plane, train, or air" for 3 weeks and counting...so I am discovering my grumpiness. I thought it was generated by the weather, my upcoming birthday, my lack of weight loss, and or hair color. But none of these could be linked...it took some searching and it came to me earlier this week. I was asked by a friend when my next travel was; I paused with grief and said not until March. The light bulb went off so I went into high gear and decided that must change.
So within two days I booked 2 trips...
First - Atlanta, GA to visit "the monster - Caden" / celebrate my birthday with the Slaughters.
Second - Madrid, Spain & Rome, Italy in March with Mom...this was I had done a little research on prior to pulling the trigger but my edginess pushed me over to the committed line.
In weeks to come I should have some more stories and good pictures.

Hey, what happened to the March or April trip to Spain we discussed over Thanksgiving? I guess I'll have to find another travel companion...
