Well let me tell you a little about my friend Sharon...she is a one of a kind and will never stop surprising you. Point being...during her recent visit to DC she was pretty typical until we went to Mount Vernon and we handed her the map. All of the sudden our little Sharon became this beacon of direction and relayed random facts. She disclosed to us on the cruise of the Potomac that she enjoys reading maps and knowing where things are in proximity to where we are...point being we were at the being of the plantation and needed to get to the wharf and the map made it seem pretty far so we decided to bolt. Once we arrived Sharon starred at the map and protested that the scale was off...Wendy and I found this quite amusing. I think because it was the first time we actually heard that Sharon had a beef about something. So throughout the day she would make comments about the map and true distance mixed with random site facts. IT was AWESOME for the the next 2 days we gave Sharon the map and she filled moments of silence with facts and distance details.
I declare that from here on out Sharon will be the "MAP GIRL" of all my trips that she is apart of...I know I will get to my destination and learn little things along the way. THANKS SHARON!!!
