31 cents ... can still buy bliss

Last night I had sluth motives for my evening activities. I am not a huge ice cream lover, in fact I could do with out...sorry Sister Sarah. But last night Baskin Robbins had their annual .31 cent scoop night. Well I figured I would send a text blast (8:30 my house) and see if "anyone" would bite ... well it was successful ... that is until I got a call (at 8:45) saying no go and I had two people at my house. I felt a tad silly because my gut reaction was to get ill all the sudden and go back to watching my HBO John Adams mini-series. Instead I took my small group to Baskin's and the line was wrapped around the building; well we were committed to the cause. The line moved much quicker then one would think. Inside I was troubled with the decision to pick one...well for 31 cents I choose two flavors - gold medal and peanut butter chocolate. I sat down, apologized to my digestive system and started to pick out the large chunks of PB out and swirls of caramel. I vowed to eat half and then chuck the rest before my insides go bonkers. After that we headed back to my house and the small gathering ended. I would say it was nice to put random people together and watch awkward conversations. ICE CREAM...still not a fan...but PB...absolutely!

I had no idea that was going on! I would have found a BR down here and went-I do love ice cream!
