Reckless Driving in VA

This is a load of crap last night around 10PM coming home from the gym I fell victim to a speed trap in my neighborhood. I wasn't paying attention to my speed and was going 42/25 and I thought it was a 35 zone...well Mr. JERK policeman gave me no warning and was showing his cadet that he was MR. COOL and gave me the full fine - $200...and proceeded to tell me that I could be considered a RECKLESS driver. Now I know I have from time to time driven a little fast but never would I say I was a reckless driver. I was going crazy inside and fully plan on contesting it with the sheer hope of reduction. Apparently if I had a VA license it would have cost close to a $1000 luckily I had my CA plates and license. Another reason to love California.
