I've never cared for the word "resolution" it is on my list of words I could do with out like "relax" but that is another story for another time and place. Call them what you want - I spoke to a friend and we evaluated our goals completion of 2007 - I was about 75% satisfied...he - not so much. We then determined to set, roll over & revamp for 2008. I've been doing some reading on being most effective on accomplishing goals and the number one thing "experts" say is to share them...well I may be regretting this but I am listing them below. I invite all of you to ask or follow up on my progress throughout the year and I will blog updates when appropriate. The point being is I have made my "goals" for 2008. Here goes...
1. Travel abroad or 2 new domestic places
2. Read at least one book a month
3. Attend the Temple once a month
4. Give out one Book of Mormon
5. Win the Fuller Family Biggest Loser Competition
6. Do one athletic competition (a Century ride, triathlon, 1/2 marathon)
7. Take one educational course
8. Be more social - locally, putting myself out in the mix
9. Live by my motto - 2008 - it's gonna be GREAT & I need to get me a mate
To the rest of you all I say make it your year and if you have great stories to share you know where I am; also if you want to follow-up on any of these feel free.
