This weekend I had the opportunity to visit friends and family in SLC, UT and witness the wedding of Mer & Jake.
It was a lovely day - the weather was picture perfect. The couple looked lovely and very happy.
The rest of us were just happy as happy could be...smiles to prove it.
After the nuptials a couple of us girls hit the old BYU campus - I was needing my bubble fix. We then split up - Shaine and Vanessa went to the Bombay House while Sharon, Wendy and I joined the family wedding party for a quick ham, green beans and wedding potatoes meal. We kicked it for a while at the reception saw them tamfully feed one another the wedding cake and then bolted like single women.
Late that night we had a giant slumber party at Casa Fuller which included a showing of My Big Fat Greek Wedding - keeping with the day's theme.

I was so excited to stumble across your blog because of Sarah! The wedding looked like a good time. Haws and I had to miss it due to a wedding I was in the same day. Hope you are doing well... you need to come a little further west next time :)
