Medical Knowledge
Last night in my ultimate state of boredom I allowed my roommate to educate me on bacteria - she is a PA student and needed to study. She thought by explaining her lessons to me it would help her retain the information. Well I have to say I learned that the medical field is not for me; first the spelling and pronunciation of words would throw me out on the first day of class. Second the photos of illnesses and cases would send me over the visual top. I was amazed that we as humans are walking bacteria and that it lives on our skin forever and it thrives off of oxygen and the moment it gets into an open wound, cut or organ it turns into a potential infection or virus. She even showed me pictures of e-coli (nasty) and open sores (even worse). Also it made me brush my teeth several times last night.
