I was traveling last week for work...building those playgrounds so I was unable to give a HUGE birthday shout out to our girl WENDY!!!! There is no one on this planet that does love WENDY nor can get mad at her. She is the one girl we all go to to get that right answer from anyone that is a big stick in the mud. I can't ever recall anyone saying no to WENDY. When I first met WENDY-girl a few moons ago she showed me the finer things of Norwalk and the El Dorado Heights Ward (she deems herself as a pioneer of that place).
She is a walking resource when it comes to being a bridesmaid, planning a funeral, seeing dead people, driving the back roads of Norwalk, Lakewood and Long Beach (she doesn't like the freeways) - funny fact, she didn't get her driver's license until she was 25...pick your mouth back up. It took me a while to get over that one. She is quite a flirt with the servicemen (mechanics, food servers, airline attendants, and department shoe store salesmen)...I have witnessed this first hand. She has a love for the wild kingdom; so much so she has a pet bunny from time to time she has to put in a corner for getting to frisky with a rubber ball.
Her favorite color is purple and if she doesn't tell you she loves a good cow print too. IF she could quite her job she would lead the Reba McIntyre fan club and stock Faith and Tim McGraw (hottie in the jeans). Now WENDY has had a bad day too...which is shocking and very alarming to witness...my first time put me into ahhhh with a slight panic attack. I just sat back and thought "WOW, this girl is normal and she too has bad days" because I thought she was perma-happy every day...it was a relief. WENDY is a true humanitarian - she has given her golden locks to charity, made dozens of dinners for new mothers and the ill, she has taken a broken heart girl to dinner a time or too. I can can't continue on another moment without also say she is the best dinner sharer EVER...anyone who has eaten with us know WENDY is a great about letting me pick off her plate - drives Patty nuts! It probably drives WENDY crazy too but she would let on; I heart her for that. Also I have to say she is the best person to take shopping - she will try on almost anything and allow you to buy the whole store knowing that most of it will be returned and she will go back with you to do so. Now it is a little known fact amongst several of us that she and her "back-up" are still planning on their nuptials...Mrs. Carr-Marengo...only 5 (he turns 40) or 9 (she turns 40) more years - truly looking forward to the stadium BBQ reception.
Well I could go on and on but I will just conclude with that the days are brighter, the nights are clearer and the world is better off with WENDY JOY CARR on the earth.
