IKEA...Helga eisle 13

Yesterday on my list of things to do Ikea was the highlight of the day. I have always enjoyed the large blue/yellow box it helps me try to find decorating inspiration through mass production. While cruising through the bedding department and looking at bedroom storage I saw a man sitting in a massage chair with a rag over his face with a woman digging into his back. Then I noticed that on this table next to it was a sign and a tip jar. I thought this was too good to be true not only do the Swedish people promote good life through organization and style they demonstrate it through physical as well. Helga was there to provide relief for those torn between the SONGA bedframe and the LACK bookshelf series.

Now of course I was wishing I had my camera then it dawned on me...searching through my pursue the heavens opened and songs of praise rang and there it appeared. I grabbed it and started to pretend to take pictures of the childrens bunk bed w/o the flash on...hence the photos are a tad blurry. But none the less it was a wonderful sight. THen I cruised over to the cafe for some meatball...kids meal, please and some linkerbeery juice all for $1.99.

All in all I ended the trip sligtly discouraged but pleased as a foreign tourist that I found Helga and know where to now go for my afternoon message. I am curious to know if other IKEA's out there offer this service. Hmmmmmm????
