My job has a lot of rewards and this weekend was just a huge reminder. I had the honor to be on site for another one of our playground builds. We built with JetBlue over the weekend in Queens, NY at a Boys and Girls Club. Turned a parking lot into a great place to play. My job started out early with an ear and tonsil infection but knew my health would have to come in a decent second and make this happen. I was in charge of the sidewalk games, we painted a hop-scotch, 4-square and a runway to the playground. The volunteers were fantastic and the weather was perfect. All in all a wonderful day.
