So I had the pleasure of attending a conference this week in Potomac, MD on the conference grounds and National Headquarters of the US Postal Office. So lets just say I was able to get my mail out in a timely manner. The hotel rooms were very tiny, in fact, when I walked in the door I thought I was in Europe again. The days consisted of team bonding activities minus the falling back into the arms of your co-workers in hopes that they would catch you. Everyday we had the fine dining experience in the Osowood Dining Hall...aka the cafeteria. But with the meals surpassing the stereotypical hair-nets and Styrofoam cups. Speaking of cafeteria's - I don't believe you ever grow out of the fear of where to sit with your tray in your hand. You still find yourself looking around with the hopes to make an eye connection with someone - a fellow coworker and not have to start a table on you own and fear that you will eat alone. And of course you always try the questionable items...why? because they are free and if you don't like them you can just move on. And for those of you that know me it is great I can just taste test anything and not worry about taking home and letting it go bad in the fridge. So all in all I would consider it a success and may have made a bond or too with a co-worker over a bad karaoke song. ..Don't worry Patty No Prince or Big Hair bands were exploited.

That room does look tiny; in fact, it looks like your feet are up against the wall. On the bright side, maybe it was reminiscent of the accommodations on the cruise.
